A Rich History.
Established in 1908 as the Victoria Park Pleasure Grounds, the park has been a cherished local attraction for over a century.
With its two significant extensions in 1911 and 1930, including the addition of play facilities, Victoria Park has evolved while preserving its original layout and charm.
Home to the Alderman Mottram shelter and the County War Memorial, the park weaves the fabric of our community's history into its green tapestry.

Victoria Park is more than just green space; it's a haven for nature lovers, families, and anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. The River Sow flows through the park, offering tranquil spots for relaxation and reflection.
